[PTab=Tab2]APPEARANCE - THIRTEEN
PERSONALITY - Scorchfur is an intelligent cat, mostly because he takes his time to think situations over. He doesn’t rush into problems, and instead, he waits, thinks, and comes up with a solution. However, this means that he isn’t as good in situations that require quick reactions and making up plans on the spot. In general, he is a kind cat, as long as you are kind to him and his loved ones. He believes in treating others like they treat him, so if you are nice to him he is nice to you. If you are mean to him or to anyone who cares about then he is mean to you. However, he tries, badly, to keep this hidden. Scorchfur has a streak of anger and violence inside of him. He is quick to react when someone seems to be threatening him or a member in his clan or someone else he cares about. He commonly will face verbal threats towards himself with physical violence, and if someone attacks one of his loved ones he will make sure that they regret it. He doesn’t believe in letting someone just walk away after they did something rude or violent towards him or someone else he cares about. He needs very little provocation to get into a physical battle with another cat. Partially this comes from a naturally over-protective nature, and it also comes from a naturally violent, aggressive part of himself that he tries to keep hidden, but that comes up more than he would like. He is extremely loyal to his clan and wouldn’t dream of doing anything that would dishonor or betray his clan, and even though he is a violent cat, he would never purposefully break the warrior code. So, he avoids killing at all costs.

HISTORY - Scorchkit was born to his mother Nightpetal and his father Oakspeckle alongside two other brothers. Sadly, one of his brothers died very soon after birth, however, Scorchkit was a bit too young to understand what had happened and didn’t truly know what had happened until he was a few moons old. Him and his surviving brother, Coalkit, had a rather normal upbringing with their father and mother. They were raised to be happy and excited about their future training, and like most kits, were wonderfully good at getting into trouble and bothering elders for stories.
Soon enough, Scorchkit had become Scorchpaw and had begun his training to become a warrior. His mentor was nice, however, he very much did not put up with Scorchpaw misbehaving. Which, at the time, was good for Scorchpaw as he wasn’t as well-behaved in the past. His mentor was also obsessively loyal and constantly reminding Scorchpaw about the warrior code, the history of the clans, and the importance of StarClan. At the time, all of that was perfect for Scorchpaw who really didn’t understand the importance of the clans or a lot about the clans. He loved learning about that kind of thing, and soon became as loyal and obsessed as his old mentor was.
His training seemed to fly by, and soon enough he was a warrior with the name Scorchfur. He begun to work for his clan as he had always dreamed, and everything was good. Until, he went out for a hunt with his mother. The two of them were having a good time together, chatting and joking around, when a rouge came out of the bushes nearby. The rouge was joking and jeering at the two of them, and calmly and coolly, Scorchfur told the rouge to leave. The rouge refused and instead lashed out towards Nightpetal. Taken by surprise, Scorchfur didn’t act quick enough and his mother was killed by the rouge.
While much time has passed since his mother’s death, it has had a slight effect on him. He no longer takes threats verbal, physical, or emotional lightly, and takes every kind of threat quite seriously. Other than that, he’s moved on since the time and now is just focusing on his day to day life. Scorchfur mostly focuses on hunting and protecting his clan.

I do believe in StarClan. I went to the Moonpool when I was an apprentice, and I have had no doubt in my mind that they exist since that experience.

Dawnstar, my mentor and parents told me a lot of good things about them, and they sound like they were a good, respectable leader.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
My greatest fear is not being able to serve my clan and family, whether that be because of death or any other reason.
