THE PLOT
Long, long ago, far beyond the memories of even the oldest cat's oldest grandparent, before the four Clans journeyed to the lake, there was a great ThunderClan leader named Tigerstar...
Overgrown Coppice is a loosely guided Warriors roleplay. The main premise is that years and years ago, when Tigerclaw had the opportunity to murder Bluestar when he led in the rogues to the ThunderClan camp, Fireheart was not able to reach the leader's den and could not stop him. Tigerstar appointed Darkstripe as his first deputy and proceeded to lead ThunderClan gloriously. He sent Cloudkit back to Twolegplace, where it seemed he was actually happier, lazing away day after day. Fireheart died soon after on the front lines, protecting his Clan in a battle, and his name was lost to history. When the time came to leave the forest, Tigerstar was courageous and admirable, and reminded all ThunderClan cats of their true identities, so they were not blinded by loyalty to other Clans when they arrived. Ever since Tigerstar, ThunderClan has not accepted a kittypet or a known-half Clan cat into their ranks, and they have been strong and fierce, giving up no territory. Now they are known for their power, ShadowClan for its nobility and silent justice, RiverClan for its intelligence and elegance, and WindClan for its swiftness and toughness. Much is changed, but even more is not.
So long has passed that all cats are descended from the greats, and thus none of them is -- there are no lookalikes, none who claim glorious lineage, just all the cats living in their respective Clans, as they always have, and as it seems they always will.
SkyClan is unknown to the four Clans, except for some in StarClan. They know not of the gorge, or of anything that might have happened there. It is all a mystery, one which could rear its shadowed head at any time...
