Sunstrike 



So Sunstrike's family is... special. His sister is his world, and anyone who threatens her, gets him instead. This is how he came to blows with- and permanently injured, his father. I don't have any pictures for them, but I mean, that just gives you the freedom to decide your pics! I'm very lazy.

Ferretcloud(Claimed by Kestrel) : Sunstrike's Sister. 40 Moons. Ferretcloud is a silver tabby, and due to their mother's small, frail size, and Suntrike's much larger size, was born runty and sickly, constantly in and out of the medicine cat's den. This caused her to be very delayed in becoming a apprentice. Firestep, deeming her useless, shunned her, and at time's even openly harrassed, bullied, or struck her as she grew, but she soon gained a protector in brave, loving Sunstrike. He was her white knight, always standing up to Firestep, or anyone else who dared to be cruel. When Ferretcloud did finally become an apprentice, fate was cruel, able warriors were few, and Firestep was also named her mentor. She wouldn't be his apprentice for more than a few heartbeats before the then Sunpaw stood up and challenged the ruling, invoking her father's wrath, and ending in a tussle then retired her father to the elder's den.

The love is mutual, and the siblings are incredibly close. Ferretcloud is a quiet, meek cat, who despite her general disposition, is a logical, yet relaxed cat. While a daredevil by no means, she is confident- this however, is because she somewhat believes that Sunstrike can and will get her out of anything- he is her big brother after all. There is room for customization in her personality, even more so it's up to you if you want her to still be a sickly, frail cat still, one who never truly thrived, and perhaps depends on her brother too much. Or perhaps you want her to have become stronger, and perhaps trying to wean herself, with varying degrees of success, against asking for her brother's aid. I dunno!

Firestep (Claimed by TheAfanc) : Sunstrike's Father. 80 Moons. This tom is pretty rotten to the core, with more of a Shadow Clan of the old personality to him. Only the strong will survive, the weak should be removed from the equation. He's a fiery orange tabby tom with cold eyes and a penchant for cruelty, and when he decided on his mate, briefly wooed her with suave behavior, and then completely and utterly dominated her, until she was afraid to leave. When she birthed his kits, he immediately disapproved of the small silver kitten, sickly, runty, weak. He nearly walked out then and never looked back, but the second kit, a tom, was large, strong. Perfect. He took to the orange tom and strutted proud as he watched him grow, and refused to acknowledge his daughter- that is, until he realized she was fun to knock around a bit, play cruel pranks on, the works. Shortly after that though, when Sunkit turned against him, daring to defend Ferretkit, he punished his son harshly. This did not dissuade him and the senior warrior was growing frustrated. Embittered, he decided that the she-cat and her kittens were faulty and beneath him. He ditched them all. 

He may have set the whispers in motion, to plant the idea in his leader's mind that he could train Ferretkit, as he had trained a few apprentices into strong, fierce warriors, and that he alone could change the sickly, weak kit into something useful to the clan. This came to the ultimate climax, the ultimate betrayal, the catalyst for his deepest hate, when Sunpaw stood, and yowled his defiance. Firestep, always short fused, pounced upon his son, ready to put him in his place once and for all. Then, the unthinkable- A mistake on his part, a blow from the tussling apprentice, and his eye was gone. He spent some time in the medicine cat's den, but his pride took longer to heal. When he left the den, the decision had already been made and there was no convincing, he was to be retired to the elder's den, and cease his warrior duties. The tom, who had always been gunning for deputy, then leader position, was devastated, and absolutely furious. His career was over. He spends these days brooding in the elder's den, or from the shadows of the camp, fixated on the everyday going ons, plotting and planning terrible things, and always wanting his kit's downfall. He'll be fun if you want something pretty much pure evil. Would potentially have other cats, including a apprentice or two, now warriors, who may respect him, even like him and be on his side.

Littledrop (Claimed by Rabiddog): Sunstrike's Mother. 72 Moons. A small female, who always prided herself on her looks, as she is undeniably beautiful. Her sleek, long silver fur makes her look larger than she is, but it's nowhere's near enough to keep her from looking like the runt she is. She was always a kind, loving chance who wanted to give everyone a chance, thinking anyone can change for the better. Perhaps this made her docile, and when Firestep came to her, smooth and confident, took to him- and then, with her interest certain, he dominated her, broke her will, broke her spirit. Regardless, she remained, thinking she could fix him, help him. She birthed his kits, and it only went downhill from there. He loathed their daughter, and soon their son as well as the young tom defended them. When he decided they were all useless to him, he left, and he has yet to speak to her since, though sometimes she catches him glaring daggers at their now warrior children, and she feels chills of fear for what is in his twisted mind.

Her personality is almost completely up to you, though she is supposed to be a notoriously kind and generous cat, she could potentially be all sorts of messed up from her time with Firestep.

Hey! I was wondering if it was okay if I claimed Ferretcloud? They seem like they could be a really fun character with a lot of potential! Unfortunately, I don't have a faceclaim picked out yet but I'll hopefully have one soon!
