MAJOR PLOTS

In the spirit of having high member involvement in the direction of the site, here's a list of major plots for each Clan! Some are staff-generated, others are made by members just like you, and you, too, can add to this. For some information:

1. Listed here are the major plots and subplots for each Clan, along with who's heading those plots and which characters are involved.
2. Anyone can add a plot!
3. A main plot is one that is longer-term, overarching, and has the ability to incorporate and affect the entire Clan. A subplot is one that can affect a significant portion of a Clan, such as a family or two, and can be longer term or shorter term. Both have build up (whether RPed or as part of the backstory) and at least a sliver of a direction for the future.
4. For now, we're limiting main plots to only one per Clan, since they are so big.
5. Staff will want to discuss with members who create main plots, so that we're all on the same page, although staff don't need to be headers of the plot.
6. Subplots will be limited as is reasonable -- if there are only ten characters in a Clan, there probably won't be fifteen subplots.
7. Future ideas are for either main plots or subplots and can evolve or dissolve or merge or expand or contract or whatever. There's no limit to future ideas.
8. It's highly encouraged for High Position holders to submit plots.
9. If you wish your character to be directly involved with one of these plots here, speak to the plot headers or post here and -- fear not! -- you will soon be involved.

THE GREAT COLLECTION
Young RiverClan Owl-something has befriended a(n ex-)kittypet who has taught him all about the magic of "keys," shiny things which go inside Twoleg monsters and make them move. In an attempt to add to his peculiar collection of items, with the thin cover of "protecting the Clan from Twoleg monsters," Owl-whatever steals the keys. Twolegs, furious and frantic, tramp through all the territories to find their "keys," possibly stealing cats as they go.

SHADOWCLAN

MISSING PERSONS
For mysterious reasons, there have been some minor and major disappearances in ShadowClan the past generation or two. Some cats suspect Swampstar to be orchestrating the whole thing, others blame non-Clan cats, ThunderClan, and even Twolegs, and still others think nothing of it. With the recent disappearance of the young warrior Ratfang, however, tensions are rising, and Batwing insists upon finding her brother.

TIGERSTAR'S CHOSEN
The young warrior Emberfrost claims to have been visited in dreams by Tigerstar, proclaiming the need to reclaim ThunderClan's greatness, that they have become weak. Another cat, perhaps from another Clan, however, receives a dream from StarClan showing visions of the past that reveal the truth of Tigerstar's rise to power: that of murder and deception. War will almost certainly break out.

CROOKED DEALINGS
Dewstar is obsessed with uncovering the tunnels. Crookedwing has had dreams of them, perhaps sent by StarClan. She also has feelings for Dewstar -- and then Longstride strides into the picture and everything is topsy turvy. He loves Crookedwing, she loves him, and then Dewstar grows feelings for the other tom. Crookedwing will end up seriously hurt and probably try to start a splinter Clan eventually. All this going down while Dewstar tries to introduce the Clan to the tunnels and use of them.

Hey hey 83 i'm going to have an RC character who was previously a kittypet who was previously friends with Bat-whatever, so can I throw him in on this (edit: this being the RC future plot omfg self) too? His name will be Whitebriar.

YES I love it.

Also we definitely need more RiverClan warriors, especially if we're going to have more apprentices (so there can be nice mentors :D) and more characters, more drama. Much more fun than kidnapping plotting with NPCs.

Type: Future Plot

THE BEAVERS
As a result of the flood, the Two-legs built a dam in a nearby town- not that the Clans know what this is. On a recent hunt, Poppystar found a large pile of sticks and logs blocking off the streams and rivers that are necessary for the lake. For a few days, the leader watched the blockage and worried about the rivers and the recent loss of prey. However, in her observations she's seen a creature bigger than the cats themselves. As brown as the bark on trees and with thick flat tails, Poppystar is worried that they would attack her clan if they got close. However, they need the water back in the rivers and streams. In an effort to get prey and water running before the other Clans notice, Poppystar heads a patrol to deal with the situation. However, Fernwhisker needs to know the potential of large injuries and death, so she can be nearby with herbs on paw.
