PERSONALITY - On the scale of 'how fit is this apprentice to becoming a warrior?', Goosepaw falls unusually low. Of course, he is a strong, fit young tomcat, who understands right from wrong, and looks to StarClan and his elders for guidance. But compared to most other apprentices who strive to be greater, stronger, better for their clan, Goosepaw just doesn't fall in that category. Now, that isn't to say he's a complete write-off, it just goes to show that not all clan cats have ambition. In the games where kits wrestled and fought to see who would be the leader of ThunderClan, Goose never felt inclined to boss others around.
In fact, he's more content just following. Despite all of this, Goosepaw is still big, and strong, and brave, and smart. His thirst for knowledge is not restricted by his disinterest in leadership or ambition. What does hinder him, however, is his foolishness. Goose tends to be a bit of a goofball, often fooling around more often than he should be. Perhaps this is because of his lack of ambition. He is wholeheartedly more interested in maintaining his friendships within his clan, and having a little too much fun along the way. However, all kits are like this, he just hasn't realized that it is time to mature a little bit.
Goosepaw is also very forgiving, affectionate, and empathetic. If it weren't for his skills in battle, and his absolute disinterest in chewing herbs in his mouth or pressing others wounds, it's very possible the young tomcat could very well have taken the path of a medicine cat. Of course, StarClan had very clear plans to keep him on the path of a warrior, thankfully for ThunderClan.
In spite of his faults, Goosepaw is a responsible and kind young cat, still learning to grow into his responsibility to his clan, and striving to be the best that he can. The few bumps in the road don't outnumber his charm and his kind heart, and as Goose grows up, he will become a respectable and honorable ThunderClan warrior.

HISTORY - Goosepaw was born to Dustbreeze and Mudstripe, two very esteemed, very proud parents. They were never harsh or unfair to Goosepaw and his brother, but they were certainly strict and concerned. They had high expectations for their first litter, and it broke Dustbreeze's heart for her to be taken away from her warrior duties. Becoming a queen, even for the short amount of time she was with her kits was very hard on the she-cat. The life of nurturing and rearing was not something she enjoyed.
Dustbreeze is an esteemed and incredible ThunderClan warrior, and therefore expected the same from her two kits. Goosepaw had always been the more outgoing of the two, whereas Duckpaw took more after their father. Mudstripe, although a confident and incredible warrior and fighter, was far more reserved and kept to himself. He had little ambition to become greater and greater, but admired his mate and her own ambition.
As Goosepaw and Duckpaw grew and became apprentices, the two drifted apart. Goose's foolishness became too much for his brother, and they began to not get along. Duckpaw felt obligated to become his mother, despite how much weaker physically and emotionally he is. Goosepaw on the other hand has always just done as he always has, despite how incredibly disappointed Dustbreeze is of him.
As such, the young tomcat has continued to try and maintain his relationship with his brother, and works at becoming a little more mature and responsible, despite how impossible it is for him right now.

I think I do! My mother tells me all the time that her father, Bearheart, would be more proud of me if I just sat and listened for once. Everyone believes in StarClan, don't they? If you don't, then you're not truly a warrior, isn't that right? I feel obligated to believe that my ancestors are watching and guiding me in my path, whatever that path may be.
FAVORITE HISTORICAL CAT? WHY?
I'm not sure I have a specific favourite, as I think every cat who came before me has been great. I know that Bluestar and Tigerstar were both incredible leaders, or at least that's what I've been told. My mother expects me to be as brave and as strong as my grandfather, although he died tripping over his own paws at the end, so I'm not so sure how honorable that is.. Don't tell her I said that. Wait, can he hear what I'm saying? I feel bad now. I'll say that Bearheart, my grandfather, is my favourite cat. I look a lot like him I've been told, and I feel it's my duty to follow in his footsteps.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
Disappointing my mother, definitely. She has so much grace and honor and bravery, and I feel so bad when I upset her. Disgracing her lineage would be the worst thing ever, and I pray to StarClan they guide me in the right direction. I'm still young you know! I have time.

"Immature, foolish and gullible!" everyone always says. I'm not so sure that's fair, considering they only ever see me at the worst possible time. Birds are tricky okay! Everyone always asks if I would follow my best friend over a cliff if they asked me to. I keep telling them I am my own person, but for some reason no one believes me! It was one time, and it was Duckpaw being a jerk. Just because I trusted him to not let me fall out of the tree when we hunted that starling. He's my brother! Of course I would trust him! Come on, man!
