[PTab=Tab2]APPEARANCE - Eleanor
PERSONALITY - As if her siblings sucked all the energy out of the womb when they were born, Amberdawn is significantly more...chill, than her siblings are. She's laid-back, and perhaps even a little bit lazy. She likes to say she's like the lake on a drowsy Greenleaf day - calm and clear, and barely moving. She's level-headed under pressure, meaning in times of severe stress she's able to think without completely losing her mind - making her a good fighter in the thick of battle, as she won't get distracted or overwhelmed by the battle around her. It also means she doesn't always have the reactions one would expect, so Amberdawn can also come off as cold or rude, for she simply doesn't waste energy on speaking or doing things if she doesn't have to. She's highly mature, and a complete realist - where her sister thinks the world is all rainbows, and her brother is moving too fast to care, Amberdawn sees the dark and dangerous places of their world, and knows that one day, they will be tested beyond repair. She's sometimes a downer, and quite the pessimist - if something looks impossible, Amberdawn is the first to....say it's impossible. It's not that she gives up on daunting tasks easily, she just figures it's better to be honest than to give a cat false hope. She's blunt, and to the point - speaking her mind even when cats don't want to hear it.
FAMILY -
Lilacsky :: (mother)
Ripplestrike :: (father)
Drizzlefur :: (sister)
Rainpebble :: (brother)
HISTORY -
Kithood | 0-6 Moons
Amberkit and her siblings were lucky enough to be born in the middle of Newleaf, where prey was overflowing and the days were just right. She was named for the dull golden patches on her pelt. It was apparent, fairly quickly, that Drizzlekit - the last born - was the focus of the family. It didn't bother Amberkit any - she was independent from the start, and preferred the relative quiet of the nursery - relative, because most of the time her brother's voice was ringing in her ears. Her kithood was rather uneventful - their parents were kind and good, if a little bit biased on which kit to care for the most - and her siblings were her closest friends, even if she sometimes worried that they might also drive her crazy. It was a time before she saw and heard the darkness of the world, a time where Amberkit herself was relatively innocent as well - wet behind the ears, some might say. She'd learn soon enough why the world wasn't all fish and feathers.
Apprenticeship | 0-13 Moons
Her mentor was a young, fresh-faced warrior named Lilysong, who was a gray tabby and actually quite small, but with a wonderful voice and a charismatic personality - almost the complete opposite of Amberpaw. Still, she'd been raised to respect her elders, and Lilysong was actually not bad at her duty to train Amberpaw - it wasn't long before the two grew that age-old bond between mentor and apprentice, and Amberpaw began to spend time with Lilysong outside of training, listening to stories and talking battle tactics. When she wasn't hanging out with her siblings, or Lilysong, or training, Amberpaw was usually cleaning out the elder's den, or off on her own in the territory. She enjoyed sitting next to the lake and staring out over the territories, fascinated by how large the world was.
And then Rainpaw got sick. It was bound to happen, with the colds of leaf-fall setting in, and leafbare quickly on it's way. Instead of being mesmerized with the changing of the seasons, Amberpaw found herself sitting outside the medicine cat den, anxious and worried but barred from entering - the risk of sickness was too strong, and though she felt awful that she couldn't be there, she had to focus on training. Sitting around like a lump would help no one - and especially not Rainpaw. It was this moment that opened Amberdawn's eyes to the darkness of the world - how a young apprentice could lose their life in just a moment. Luckily, that didn't happen - Rainpaw recovered, and threw himself into his training.
Leafbare hit hard, and the final opening of her eyes came as she watched her Clanmates slowly begin to wither away. It was the first time that Amberpaw felt a sense of urgency, and she worked herself to the bone trying to find food for her Clan despite the frozen lake. They would starve to death if they didn't, and she started to view their diet of fish and almost fish alone as a weakness. If they didn't have the lake, they would starve. Amberpaw focused on learning to hunt in the forest around them, honing her hunting skills for animals such as squirrels, and mice, and the occasional frog or lizard. Lilysong reminded her that, once the water unfroze, she wouldn't need to hunt in the woods - and Amberpaw pointed out that, Leafbare was a reoccurring thing. They needed to have a larger variety of food.
It didn't feel like much longer after that, that Amberpaw and her siblings were being made warriors.
Warriorhood | 13-Current Moons
A whole moon has passed since receiving her warrior name alongside her siblings, and so far everything has been peaceful. Amberdawn continues to feel protective over her siblings - specifically Drizzlefur, who seems incapable of seeing the bad in the world.

[PTab=Tab3]DO YOU BELIEVE IN STARCLAN? WHY OR WHY NOT?
The fluffy white she-cat flicks her bushy tail, looking bored already. "Yes, but I'd like to think of them as a warrior would view their leader. A guiding force, but not something someone like me would interact with every single day. I believe they exist, but I don't think they're as all-powerful as some cats seem to believe."
FAVORITE HISTORICAL CAT? WHY?
"An elder once told me about an ancient leader - he was a WindClan leader named Tallstar. He was one of the leaders who led the Clans to the lake." Her ears perk up, the first time in this conversation that she actually looks interested. "He died the day they arrived - he was the oldest of the leaders. That kind of dedication to one's clan is amazing, and inspiring. I'd say he's my favorite for that reason."
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
Memories of Rainpebble's sickness, and Drizzlefur's innocense wash over her. "Losing my siblings. I worry about them - not that they aren't capable warriors, of course...but I just...worry. It's about the only thing I really do worry about." Her tone is light, but her eyes remain serious and guarded.
IF YOUR BEST FRIEND/MOTHER/WHOEVER KNOWS YOU WELL COULD DESCRIBE YOU IN THREE INDIVIDUAL WORDS, WHAT WOULD THOSE BE? DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE?
"That depends on who you ask." She quips, shrugging her fluffy shoulders. "But I'm closest with my siblings, and I know they'd say something along the lines of 'sourpuss, serious, and quiet.' I guess I agree. I don't really think I'm quiet, I talk when I need to...just not more than necessary."
