Morningwhisper was currently out of the camp and by the stream. She had laid herself down watching the fish as they swam by. Her tail swished gently side to side while she waited for the perfect chance to strike. When the time was right, she claws at the water and a fish flew out of the water and landed next to her. She caught five so far. She gave a stretch before sitting herself down. It would require multiple trips to take all this back but it would allow her to spend some time relaxing and on her own. She looked at the fish and then looked at the pile she had. She thought for a few minutes, wondering whether to add one more to the pile to make it even. After some debate in her head, she laid down by the stream once more. Her eyes shifted side to side watching the fish. When the perfect moment came, she struck her paw at the fish and added one more to the pile. With 6 fish ready to go back to the fresh kill pile, she gave a silent nod. She grab what she could carry and got ready to head back to the camp with what she had.

It was a beautiful newleaf day as Brightstream wandered out of camp. The clouds were few and instead left lots of bright blue sky. The ground at her feet was dry and hard, which had been a rare sight in recent days. With a little skip and a hop, the calico quicken her pace towards the stream. This wasn’t really going to be a day about hunting. She wasn’t looking to bring back food to her clan, though it was always a bonus. She was just looking for a little fun. Leaf-bare always was a stressful time without much joking around and doing things just for fun. But now it was Newleaf! There was prey, and there was warmth, and there was less sickness. So, she was in a better mood, those around her were in a better mood, and she just wanted to enjoy herself for a day.
Turning a corner, Brighstream saw the stream in front of her. She speed up to get to the bank and then lowered herself to the ground. She took just a few licks of water before a scent crossed her nose. Immediately, she shot up straight and looked around to find the creator of the scent, ”Morningwhisper!” Sure enough, it was her sister over a little ways with her with a face full of fish. ”Morningwhisper! Hi!” She sprinted for her sister just stopping in time not to run into her. Her words were rushed and wild, as she said, ”Hi! What are you doing here? Oh well that should be obvious you’re fishing! Wow you had luck today. That’s amazing! You’ve always been a good hunter.”
Brighstream stopped and took in a deep breath before saying a bit more calmly, ”How have you been? I feel like I haven’t spoken with you in a while.”

Morningwhisper was about to set off towards the camp before her sister came. She looked over to Brightstream as she called out to her. She was as loud as ever, but that was just her. She placed the fish down so she didn't struggle to talk. Besides, with how quiet she was, Brightstream probably wouldn't hear her with a face full of fish. She gave a small shy smile before taking one step back to allow some space between the two. "I was patient and waited, I was quiet, that is how I caught the fish, you'll scare off all the prey if you keep shouting. I've been good, today has been good hunting." She was quiet as always, she sat herself down as she looked over to the fish she had collected. Luckily, with Brightstream here, taking the fish to the camp would be much easier. She gave a small smile at that thought before looking to Brightstream once more. Brightstream

Brightstream wanted to just let out a sigh. She knew her sister didn’t like her loud personality, not that she was ever going to change it. She liked her personality and wasn’t going to change it. She did wish the two of them got along better though. ”I know! But it doesn’t really matter since it looks like you’ve already caught all the fish!” She joked as she flicked her tail towards the pile of caught fish. ”Anyways, I wasn’t really planning on hunting. I was just going for a walk, and then I saw you!” She did a little hop before, asking, ”So, want some help carrying these back to camp?”
Brightstream tilted her head at her sister, realizing that it really had been a long time since they had last spoken. ”So, what’s been going on with you? I feel like I never see you anymore.” Her voice this time was not rushed or joking. It was serious. ”How’s life?” @morningwhisper
