PERSONALITY - Those who are extremely close to Poppystar know how nosy the older she-cat is. It is those cats that know she is quite the meddling old fool. Usually, those with a high perception, intuition, and intelligence get a strong feeling about the leader in that she knows more than she's supposed to. They usually don't trust her, because it's like there's a large warning sign on her face that screams "DO NOT TRUST." Poppystar knows she's manipulative, and will usually subtly push others to make a decision that could impact the Clan in either a very good or very bad way. In all honesty, Poppystar wants her Clanmates to choose what they believe is the best for the Clan. However, she would prefer if it was a decision that would impact RiverClan in a good way and not in a bad way.
Where other cats will go along with things easily, Poppystar won't agree to something until she's sure that it will benefit her specifically or the Clan. When she's not conversing with members of her Clan, she plots about what to do with the future. She tries to come up with various activities, to see who would best match who as a mate,the best way to come back to camp without anyone knowing about her collection of shiny items, to have ideas on how to make alliances work... Anything, really. Poppystar is a very positive she-cat with few negative annotations about anything in particular. She attempts to brighten a lot of cats' days, working with the warriors and apprentices to give them a better incentive or to give them a way to prove themselves.
Poppystar will always take the chance to help someone when she spots it. She genuinely tries to be a good leader, to be a good role model. She's a very supportive feline, when it comes to situations that will benefit them all (or her specifically) in the end. Poppystar is also pretty agree-able when it comes to certain things, but if it involves breaking the warrior code or putting them all into danger, then she will quite bluntly redirect that plan into something that would protect them all instead.
This she-cat is also quite odd. She doesn't often act like she's hiding something unless someone comes into her den. Upon having someone come in, she hides her collection of shiny items underneath her nest if she isn't fast enough to bury them in the hole they're in. Poppystar'snerdy sneaky that way. Also has OCD.

Poppystar doesn't actually recall a lot of her kithood. Mostly because it was quite tranquil and home when she was that age. She remembers that her younger siblings were born when she was approximately five moons old, but that's the only thing along with her fierce love to protect all that was hers. Tawnyfeather and Wildtalon were often there in her memories as well.
apprentice-hood
As an apprentice, Poppystar was terrifyingly efficient with getting things done in good time. She hated not doing things, and frequently sought out chores to do. Not doing anything rankled her to no end, so she often went out to train with the other apprentices, her mentor... She even went out hunting a few times. Patching up the barrier around the camp, making new nests, and generally keeping the clearing clean actually caused the Clan's area to sparkle while she was an apprentice. Even now, Poppystar is keeping everything clean to make sure everyone is happy.
the warrior years
Her cleaning sprees became worse as she aged. By the time she was selected for deputy at 81 moons, she had gone through four apprentices in the 66 moons in the era of being a warrior. Poppystar honestly tried her best to please a lot of cats in the Clan, but she never thought that she had drawn the attention of the previous leader in those 5 1/2 years. Nope! When the previous deputy died, she was shocked when the leader chose her for deputy-ship. Under the reign she held over the deputy position, she often reflected back on the moons where she admiredthe deputy position Littlestar from a distance. It became a lot more real once she was actually training to be the future leader of RiverClan. Poppystar was immensely surprised when Littlestar stepped down.
Nervous, and full of excitement, she bestowed the previous leader with the name Greatspirit, for leading the clan through a prosperous time. Nineteen moons later, she's ruling RiverClan with a gentle iron fist.

[PTab=Tab3]DO YOU BELIEVE IN STARCLAN? WHY OR WHY NOT? It's been apparent to me since I was little that StarClan is merely just out of our reach. I don't fear death, because it's just the next great adventure. I'm always going to look forward to seeing my parents in StarClan.
FAVORITE HISTORICAL CAT? WHY? Greatspirit. I admire how young she was when she took over the Clan, and led it to prosperity and a wealth of warriors, apprentices, and kits over the moons. I hope to one day emulate her spirit through this leadership.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR? It would be my greatest nightmare to see RiverClan disbanded, or dying. Being taken by two-legs, killed by those barking menaces, fire... If anything happens to RiverClan, I would lay all the blame on my shoulders. It would be my fault for not showing them how to differentiate between right and wrong.
IF YOUR BEST FRIEND/MOTHER/WHOEVER KNOWS YOU WELL COULD DESCRIBE YOU IN THREE INDIVIDUAL WORDS, WHAT WOULD THOSE BE? DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE? Positive. For some reason, I'm always trying to cheer others up. Even if it's an underhanded tactic to raise the morale of the clan. I genuinely like to brighten other cats' days. My brother, when he was alive, would call me a meddling fool. I know he disapproved of me subtly manipulating people, no matter how much it was for the clan. Supportive. Um, I genuinely support the clan in their endeavors. However, if it's something that brings down the Clan's reputation or endangers everyone else, don't count me in on it. In fact, there will be some heavy punishment involved if anyone dare think to do something to the Clan, no matter how much they want to help the Clan.
