[PTab=Tab2]APPEARANCE - Photo
PERSONALITY - It is surprising that despite his age Antnose is a very high energy tom; he never seems to stop whether it be from actual physical movement or just from talking someone's ear off. He truly does love to talk - he will keep a cat for hours if someone dares to inquire about his youth or really any story. He had the tendency to weave tall tales about his younger days like how once single highhandedly fought off a dog as an apprentice, he will fail to mention the dog was not that much bigger than he was.
Not that he is a liar, he just enjoys to entertain people. Life is too serious and someone needs to lighten it up so it might as well be him.
He genuinely has a natural cheerfulness to him, it would be difficult to wipe the smile off of his face and it is rare for him to remain down for a long time. He is a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and there is little that anyone can do to change their course is life, it is best to live life as light hearted as possible.
He does not like to have his age brought up even if he brings it up himself quite a bit. Most of the time he ignores comments on his age all together. It is not like he is the oldest non-retired warrior, he just does not want to be reminded he is getting old or how his joints are beginning to stiffen up and how he may not be as bouncy as he used to be. He worries about his friends and what they would do without him to lighten things up.
As he has never had kits of his own and has very few close kin so he takes interest in the lives of his other clan mates. He likes to be seen as a fatherly type, there to help and give awkward but meaningful advice. His favorite thing to do is give advice on romance, while he has been in a few relationships that never really went anywhere he feels the need to help any young warrior find their special someone even if his help is really not wanted.
He is the type to not think before he acts, this can be with his words and his actions. He refuses to let others tell him how he is suppose to act and he does not realize how brash he can be. Some cats are more tolerant of Antnose being in their business while others are not but unless he is specifically told to leave he will stick around.

Close friend - Pinebreeze
Friend - Snowtail
HISTORY -
Antkit was the single kit in the litter of a Shadowclan she-cat named Sparrowheart. Sparrowheart was a young she-cat and she had barely been made a warrior before she became mates with the tom Sandthroat. While some clanmates pitied her for moving to the nursery so quickly, in truth the she-cat was quite content there. While she would never admit it she had a dislike for some of her warrior duties, she wasn't fond of fighting and had little interest in teaching apprentices the skills of it.
When her kit was born she attempted to pass down her displeasure about the Warrior life through cautionary tales about the other clans but her words were futile on the young kit, it wasn't long before Antkit became Antpaw as zealous as any cat to become a warrior apprentice.
He was disappointed that he could not became his father's apprentice, though the warrior who was his mentor, Grayclaw, was just as admirable as Sandthroat. While Grayclaw was a stoic, fierce warrior it seemed little of his personality rubbed off on Antpaw who remained a bouncy, high energy tom from the day he was apprenticed to the day he became a warrior.
As an apprentice the most dramatic thing that happen to him was the day he came face to face with a dog. The clans always told horrifying tales of great beasts with fangs that could kill a cat with an instant and that they all should fear their barking. It had been early morning when he had taken a walk with his friend Pinepaw who insisted that they have a little adventure before they had to train. They were exploring the edges of Shadowclan territory when they heard a high pitch barking, the apprentices were about to obey their instincts and run before the moment they realized the noise was barking. They were too slow in their decision though for a sandy colored dog had burst out in front of them.
Antpaw and Pinepaw had been confused, the dog was not all that much bigger than they were and its bark was high more annoying than terrifying. The two apprentices made the decision to fight back and that was when a stalemate took place as the dog barked and the two apprentices stood their ground and hissed, neither advancing. It was not until they heard the voice of a two-leg close by that both the dog and the cats knew they had to go. The experience of course did not stop Antpaw from telling the clan that he had fought a dog and that Pinepaw had helped, though both cats were punished for lying and causing trouble.
In his youth he was a well-rounded tom with a keen curiosity of the world around him. Eventually he trained enough that he got his warrior name and so he was dubbed Antnose, he began the next moons of his life like any average warrior cat. About a moon later Pinepaw became Pinebreeze and fell in love with a she-cat named Snowtail. At first Antnose was a bit jealous of the she-cat who now consumed most of Pinebreeze time but his friend was so mild mannered when Antnose had come to yell at him for being obsessed with Snowtail that his anger left him immediately. He was young and hot headed but he began to realize that not everything in life had to be about him.
By mid New-leaf Pinebreeze and Snowtail had their first litter. Antnose had thought they were a bit foolish to be having something as serious as kits at their age and though he kept that thought to himself he found that he felt a bit uncomfortable around the kits when he went to visit. They were just too small, too fragile. At the time he could barely fathom how creatures so small could become warriors like their parents or like himself. They were not his kin and he was a warrior, he did not need to visit often.
He went on patrol quite a bit now that Pinebreeze and Snowtail were busy. He often found himself going on patrol with his mother Sprarrowheart who often did not take the patrols seriously, she just wanted to spend time with her son. The day was warm and cozy and with Sparrowheart's apprentice tagging along they three had not much to worry about but talk and maybe do a little hunting.
The smell of badger was carried by the wind, it was strong and close. Sprrowheart send her apprentice to go warn the clan and get reinforcements, they would not be enough even for a lone badger.
As they scented it out, trying to pinpoint its location, the badger came from a burrow hidden by the dark trees and the slope of a hill. The creature attacked Sparrowheart first but Antnose was quick on his feet and jumped on the creatures back and soon the two cats were going back and forth to fight it off. Just before help could arrive though the badger clamped powerful jaws on Antnose's back leg, leaving him with little choice but to drag himself away as far as he could before he was killed. A mix of pain and fear caused him to eventually black out.
In the next few days he spent a long time in the Medicine cat's den, just trying to find out if his leg would ever get better. He was young though, and the medicine cat talented, his leg was saved despite a bit of soreness and a large scar. As he rested in the medicine cat's den he learned that his mother had also been injured in the fight, by the time a patrol had come to rescue them though she had died.
At this point Antnose life had slowed down, he continued his warrior duties but he held no zest for life like he usually did. Both Pinebreeze and Snowtail had been his support during this time but Snowtail was pregnant once more which provided a distraction in her life. When her second litter was born Antnose was around more to help. He found himself sticking to the camp more and going on patrols a lot less in his grief for his mother but Snowtail's kits gave him an excuse to be useful. He spent a lot of time with Pinebreeze, Snowtail and their kits, it had been a more difficult birth for the she-cat for she ended up giving birth in late Leaf-fall. It was a particularly cold season and Snowtail had been having trouble getting her strength back up.
Snowtail did slowly recover but having three kits to look after was not helping at all. One day Antnose came to visit and Snowtail had nearly clawed his nose off for a simple hello, that was when Antnose decided the she-cat needed a break. He offered to watch the kits while she and Pinebreeze took a quiet walk in the forest before the weather grew too cold.
He had only ever offered to watch the kits once but after that he ended being Pinebreeze's and Snowtail's designated kit-watcher, being unable to argue as Pinebreeze told him, "Why, you're practically my brother Antnose! Consider my kits your kin!" with so little family of his own he truly did think Pinebreeze as a brother.
His life continued on as normal for many moons he carried on his warrior duties like any loyal Shadowclan cat. Mentored quite a few apprentices, gained a couple scars, and possibly even broke a few hearts over the years. More tragedies had happened as he grew older as was the Warrior life, his father Sandthroat died of sickness along with one of Snowtail's kits who had just became a warrior. No matter what heartache happened though Pinebreeze and Snowtail will always be there for him as he would always be there for them. As they all head closer and closer to retirement though, he fears the day where they won't be by his side.

[PTab=Tab3]DO YOU BELIEVE IN STARCLAN? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Starclan is the driving force for all the clans, you do not get to be a warrior at my age and not believe. I would be a complete fool to not think they were out there. I know for certain my parents are in those stars that I see at night, I know they are watching and waiting for the day I will be with them again. Of course, Sparrowheart and Sandthroat will have to wait many more moons before they get to see my lovely face again.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
I feel ill everytime I think about how Pinebreeze or Snowtail may die, it shames me to say that while I worry for their kit's death too I do not think I could handle not having my two friends with me. Those two have been with me for so long, how could I imagine Shadowclan without them?
IF YOUR BEST FRIEND/MOTHER/WHOEVER KNOWS YOU WELL COULD DESCRIBE YOU IN THREE INDIVIDUAL WORDS, WHAT WOULD THOSE BE? DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE?
I'm sure Pinebreeze would have more than three words to say about me but it would probably be something sappy like caring, dedicated, a goof. There is certainly a lot more to me than that though and I bet Snowtail's words would be much less positive!
