PERSONALITY - Foxthorn can come off as a rude cat to outsiders and even to her own family. She has been never one for manners or lying. So when a cat askes her a question she will answer honestly. She doesn’t sugarcoat it. This can be a good thing as she is very unlikely to lie and does not like lying, and she will always give an honest opinion. However, sometimes when responding she doesn’t think about how it would make the other cat feel and can hurt their feelings. This makes her feel marginally bad, though not bad enough to change the way she answers other cats. She still believes in the truth with no sugarcoating. (An exception is made for kits, very young apprentices, and Petalfur.) Even when not being asked a question, Foxthorn can generally be a bit rude. She has never cared for manners and just says what is on her mind with absolutely no filter. She can also be quite a stubborn ox at times.
While she is a rude rather mean cat. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t love the cats around her. Foxthorn is endlessly loyal to her clan, and that means she is loyal to each and every member that is a part of it. She loves all of them, just in her own way. She may not show it often, but she cares for those around her. It is one of the reasons she is so brutally honest. It’s because she does not believe in lying to those you care about. She does wish that those around her could love her back more, though she has come to the realization that her personality just isn’t lovable. So, she has chosen instead to just keep on doing her best as a warrior and trying to be as brave and loyal as she possibly can. That way, even if they don’t love her for who she is as a cat, they will respect her for who she is as a warrior. Along with that, Foxthorn has always had a soft spot for apprentices and kits. She loves being able to teach them and train them in the ways of being a warrior, and part of her wants to be a mother and have her own kits one day, though again, she knows that this is an unlikely ideal. So she will try and be happy with just mentoring.

HISTORY - Foxkit was born to Addertuft and Redfoot alongside her two sisters Hazelkit and Flamekit. They were their parents first and last litter, since Addertuft had never wanted kits and hated the idea of having them. The three kits had been a mistake that she had never wanted. To this day, Foxkit remember the words that taught her all she needed to know about her mother. It was all sound, as Foxkit hadn’t opened her eyes at the time, but she had been about to when she heard another queen in the den say, “Addertuft look! Foxkit is going to open her eyes!” and Addertuft only responded with an apathetic, “About time.” It wasn’t long until Foxkit heard the story of her and her sister’s birth, and how their mom hadn’t even cared enough to name them. According to the gossiping queens next to their nest, Addertuft said that she didn’t care what their names were and that Redfoot could name them. As soon as the kits were eating real meat, Addertuft was leaving the den for nearly the entire day at a time. The three sisters barely ever saw her, yet it was okay, since Petalfur, the queen who had told Addertuft to look at Foxkit opening her eyes, had decided to help raise the kits alongside her own four, and Redfoot, their father, still loved them and played with them every day. The three kits didn’t know that this was that odd at the time, and so they gladly went over to curl up and play with Petalfur and her kits.
On the day of their apprentice ceremony, Petalfur, her mate, and Redfoot took on the job of cleaning the three sisters up, while Addertuft was nowhere to be found. Thankfully, she was at the ceremony, but she stayed in the back with the rest of her warrior friends and didn’t speak to the kits before and after the ceremony. By this time, Foxpaw and Firepaw had understood their mother and had given up on having a relationship with her mother, while Hazelpaw had not and still has not to this day. However, unlike Firepaw, the cruel nature of their mother had made Foxpaw bitter and grumpy.
The three kits went through their apprenticeships quickly enough and soon became warriors. Foxpaw was given the name Foxthorn both for her fighting ability and for her personality. Since then life has been relatively normal for the three sisters, and they have been living life day after day as warriors of ThunderClan.
